Mt. Agung, Bali, Indonesia
Me, Kim and our neighbor Thomas climbed the highest volcano in Bali, Mt.Agung. The 7 hour night ascend to the summit at 3031m rewarded us with 360 degree view of Bali at sunrise. For our surprise there were no other people on the summit at all! Physically the total of 14 hours of walking reminded me of some of the harder days of bike touring. I really enjoyed the first 10 hours. The last 4 hours? Could have been better for my feet with some other shoes than sneakers.
Thanks to Thomas for awesome drone footage and edit! Not everybody carries an extra 10kg up and down that hill!
