Tibetan plateau, China
After doing a massive 120km day from 3700m over the 4768m Kunlun Pass I was finally on the high Tibetan Plateau and off the busy Tibet-Qinghai Highway.
The following days there were less than a car per hour on the road I was riding and the amount of wild life was staggering on the vast scenery. Thousands of lemmings and hundreds or deers and birds of pray kept my mood high even thought riding was extremely hard as the road stayed high above 4000m.
The yaks also outnumbered people 100 to 1.
