South Kazakhstan
Camping in the Kyzyl Khum desert was truly magical. Without any light pollution the sky was just incredible at night and I saw dozens of shooting stars during the first few nights. When there were no lorries going by on the road a kilometer from my camp, I was hearing my heart beat.
