Watching a sunset in a river in North Iran
Due to the difficulties with visas in Tehran, Bert (Cycling from Belgium to Kyrgyzstan, check out: bertrijst.tumblr.com) joined me to the 900km ride back to Caucasus and Baku. After riding two days in the highland deserts of Iran we finally reached the valley and thus also a river leading to the Caspian Sea. After pitching our camp, we sat half an hour in the river watching the sunset. That was the only half an hour that I wasn’t sweating that week.
